Concept

If AI is a co-creator, the workflow is the score. This masterclass transcended tool tutorials, focusing on advanced workflows and 'Prompt Engineering Logic' for integrating AI technologies — Midjourney, Runway — into media art and commercial creative pipelines.

Experience Design

Designed as an experience rather than a lecture: participants moved through the same arc as a production — concept, experiment, selection, refinement, delivery — building working creative pipelines of their own, from image-generation principles to key visual production strategy.

Technology / Medium

Generative AI toolchains (Midjourney, Runway, Photoshop/Canva/Gemini integrations), structured prompt systems, and end-to-end AI creation workflows drawn from real production.

Process

Planned as an internal course at Dotmill: synthesized the rapidly evolving Generative AI landscape with hands-on production expertise into a comprehensive slide-by-slide curriculum, and produced a two-hour masterclass lecture video documenting the core concepts. Session 1 (November 2025) established the foundation; Session 2.0 (May 2026) expanded into key visual, teaser, and promotion workflows.

Outcome

Delivered twice company-wide, establishing a new workflow for Dotmill's design team and reducing ideation time by 40%. The course became a formal platform for sharing practice-based research with the wider creative community.

Reflection

Teaching the workflow revealed it as a work in itself — the invisible architecture of co-creation, made explicit and transferable. It demonstrated the pedagogical skill to translate complex concepts into actionable curriculum.
