Project Overview & Concept
'The 2N Project' was a large-scale, site-specific immersive performance that transformed an entire university building into a "haunted school" theme park. Audiences explored in teams, navigating different classrooms to interact with unique characters, complete missions, and drive the narrative.
As the architect of this entire system, I was responsible for both the creative world-building and the logistical/operational design.
Contribution & Methodology: 'Experience Designer'
My contribution was to design and manage the entire audience journey as an 'Experience Designer (UX)'.
World-Building: I designed the overarching "haunted school" world, then developed unique sub-narratives, characters, and interactive missions for each individual classroom, treating each as a distinct 'episode'.
Audience Flow & Systems Design: My primary focus was high-fidelity audience flow management. This involved:
Proactively simulating audience circulation before rehearsals to identify potential bottlenecks, immersion drops, and fatigue points.
Developing solutions in real-time, such as adjusting guide paths and adding 'waiting area content' to manage flow and maintain immersion.
Building the crisis response protocols and staff communication systems from the ground up.
Running daily meetings to deconflict creative intent (from actors/directors) with the necessary logistical audience flow.

Key Outcomes & Insights
Successfully designed and operated a complex, large-scale roaming performance for 60 simultaneous audience members.
Received audience feedback validating the goal: "A performance enjoyable like a visit to a theme park."
This project was a foundational exercise in Experience Design, proving that the strategic operation of space and the choreography of audience flow is, in itself, the core of the performance.
Developed a high-fidelity methodology for designing audience flow + emotional flow in parallel, a skill set directly applicable to immersive exhibitions, theme parks, and interactive media installations.
